If you are traveling from Aultbea to Ullapool you will find that Camusnagaul is just under an hour's drive. On the way you will pass Laide and the wonderful clean sandy beaches at Gruinard, so it may well take over an hour after you have stopped to enjoy the scenery and paddled in the sea at Gruinard. If you are driving from Ullapool it also takes around about 1 hour to travel to Camusnagaul. At Camusnagaul is our Maggie's Tea Room and Craft Shop - we serve great food and home made baking. So when you are passing next please drop in and sample our tasty food. We also serve locally brewed An Teallach and Beinn Dearg beer. At Camusnagaul we also have CREAG ARD CHARTERS fast 38 foot boat the MV REBECCA ANN which cruises at 18 knots and is fully licensed and capable of comfortably taking 12 persons on scuba diving, fishing or scenic cruises. For divers they operate trips to many famous dive sites on a daily basis with sites to suit all needs and requirements from wreck diving to scenic. Daily rates are very reasonable and is affordable by tourist to this area who wish to experience a day trip scuba diving, sea fishing or just having a scenic trip around the Summer Isles that they will remember for a long time. Wildlife including deer are in abundance - you just need to be patient and look for them.
Waterfalls are a feature in the Scottish Highlands and many are seen from the roadside. This one forms part of a multiple waterfall at Ardessie is well worth the walk up the hill to see them.
Early morning is a time of beauty in the Highlands with the sun spreading like gold over the sea and lochs as it rises above the mountains.

Aultbea is in the Wester-Ross area of the Scottish Highlands. You can travel from Inverness to Aultbea in just over 2 hours, and from Ullapool it is approximately 1.5 hrs drive.
